ABOUT US

Our goal is to encourage the uptake of electric vehicles across Nottingham and the surrounding area – so that together we can reduce emissions, improve air quality and support Nottingham’s ambition to become the UK’s first carbon neutral city by 2028.

From our convenient location near to Nottingham city centre, we provide an affordable and informative service. Our Technicians and Fleet Coordinators are on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding your EV, to offer tips on getting the most from your vehicle and, because we maintain a full range of EVs, we can offer impartial, expert advice on your next potential purchase.

Our aim is to create a regional hub for EV maintenance and knowledge sharing with local authorities, businesses and the general public. As well as EVs, we maintain e-bikes and e-cargo bikes, making NEVS an all-round e-mobility maintenance centre!  Find out more about the services we offer here.

NEVS also maintains Nottingham City Council’s growing fleet of 142 EVs – including the UK’s first fully electric sweepers, cage tippers and minibuses.

COVID-19 ARRANGEMENTS

The safety and wellbeing of both our customers and staff remains our top priority. Stringent COVID-19 measures are in place to ensure that enhanced cleaning and responsible social distancing measures are practiced at all times. All staff have been fully trained on the new ways of working and we continue to monitor government advice.

We are only allowing one visitor at a time into the reception area at NEVS and both the waiting area and MOT viewing area are currently closed. Access arrangements for the reception area will be provided when your booking is confirmed and clear signage is in place on site. A face covering must be worn at all times inside NEVS (unless you are exempt).

Our team continue to follow strict cleaning regimes, with increased attention on all high-touch points and workstations. Frequent hand washing is taking place and our Technicians are wearing single-use gloves and disposing of them appropriately. Vehicle touch points and keys are sanitised throughout the appointment process and both seat and steering wheel covers are in use.

If you have any questions relating to our COVID-19 arrangements or require any further assurance about the measures we have in place, please  contact us.
